TELOS ™ | The Ultimate Fulfillment ™

David R Goswick

David R. Goswick is an American entrepreneur, marketing strategist, systems innovator, and business leader with more than four decades of experience at the intersection of housing, energy, technology, finance, and community development. Throughout his career, he has pursued one overarching mission: enhancing quality of life by integrating consumer insights, finance, infrastructure, technology, energy, and community development into scalable innovations that make communities healthier, more resilient, more affordable, and more sustainable.

Throughout his career, Goswick has consistently challenged the traditional boundaries between housing, energy, technology, finance, healthcare, and infrastructure—believing that lasting innovation occurs when entire systems are designed to work together rather than independently.

Goswick is the Co-Founder of TELOS™, a next-generation platform whose name is derived from the ancient Greek word meaning “the ultimate fulfillment.” TELOS™ was created to improve how people live by lowering the Total Monthly Cost of Living™ through the design, development, and operation of next-generation communities. Rather than focusing solely on homes, TELOS™ integrates land stewardship, intelligent infrastructure, homesites, community services, and a digital operating system into a unified platform that creates healthier, more resilient, more affordable, and more sustainable places to live. By bringing together housing, energy, water, communications, mobility, wellness, education, conservation, hospitality, and technology, TELOS™ provides a scalable framework for the communities of the future.

The TELOS™ vision is being demonstrated through TELOS™ Moss Mountain Farm, the company’s flagship prototype and demonstration community, developed in collaboration with renowned conservationist and lifestyle expert P. Allen Smith. Serving as a living laboratory, Moss Mountain Farm demonstrates how conservation, hospitality, sport, wellness, education, housing, and technology function as one integrated community ecosystem. Planned amenities include championship golf, gardens, trails, river recreation, farm-to-table dining, wellness experiences, residential neighborhoods, educational programs, cultural venues, and outdoor adventure—creating a model that can inspire future TELOS™ communities throughout the United States and internationally.

Separately, Goswick is the Co-Founder of Quantum America, an innovation company dedicated to advancing the next generation of residential housing. Quantum America develops and commercializes precision-built residential technologies—including resilient, healthy, intelligent, and energy-efficient homes—that leverage advanced building science, precision manufacturing, systems engineering, and smart technologies to improve performance while reducing the long-term cost of homeownership. Although TELOS™ and Quantum America are independent companies with separate ownership and governance, they share a common vision of creating healthier, more sustainable, and more attainable communities through innovation.

Throughout his career, Goswick has collaborated with Fortune 500 companies, institutional investors, leading technology firms, utilities, developers, universities, and government organizations to create consumer-focused innovations that simplify the process of buying, financing, protecting, and operating homes while improving affordability, resilience, and long-term value.

Earlier in his career, Goswick served as a lead advisor to the U.S. Resolution Trust Corporation during the savings and loan crisis, contributing to the successful liquidation of more than $394 billion in financial and real estate assets. He also conceived and led the development of one of America’s first master-planned communities to provide integrated residential services—including telecommunications, internet, security, entertainment, and electricity—through a consolidated “one-bill” operating model that anticipated today’s connected-home and intelligent community ecosystems.

Goswick’s company also established the nationally recognized Homes for Houston initiative, an innovative public-private housing program designed to expand affordable homeownership opportunities for working families. The program was recognized by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, whose Secretary described it as “the gold standard” for public-private housing partnerships.

His work has earned more than 400 national and international awards for innovation, marketing, and strategic communications and has contributed to business initiatives representing more than $140 billion in cumulative revenue impact.

Goswick serves as an Advisor to the Board of Texans for Reasonable Solutions (TfRS), a statewide housing advocacy organization dedicated to expanding housing affordability through market-based policy reforms. Working alongside a broad coalition of policymakers, industry leaders, research organizations, and community stakeholders, TfRS supported the passage of landmark Texas housing legislation—including SB 15, SB 840, and HB 24—to reduce barriers to housing development, encourage more attainable homeownership, expand opportunities for mixed-use and multifamily communities, and streamline residential development approvals. The organization continues to advance research, public policy, and legislative initiatives that increase housing supply and improve affordability for Texas families.

Complementing these efforts, through House X Labs, Goswick has led collaborative innovation initiatives with leading organizations across the housing, energy, health, and technology sectors to accelerate the development of healthier, more resilient, intelligent, and affordable communities. His work has included serving as an early member and keynote panelist of one of the world’s largest Internet of Things (IoT) consortiums; being selected as one of only thirteen organizations to participate in the Rocky Mountain Institute’s (RMI) inaugural eLAB Accelerator; and collaborating with the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) to advance intelligent residential energy ecosystems—including neighborhood-scale nanogrids and microgrids, intelligent zero-energy homes, distributed energy resources, battery storage, and resilient community energy systems designed to provide homeowners with greater energy independence while utilizing the electric grid as a secure backup rather than the primary source of power.

Goswick also conceived the 12th House Initiative in collaboration with the Texas A&M Construction Science Housing Innovations Laboratory, helping establish a multidisciplinary living laboratory dedicated to transforming the future of attainable housing. Located on the Texas A&M RELLIS Campus, the initiative unites academia, industry, government, and community partners to research, validate, and demonstrate next-generation housing technologies that improve affordability, sustainability, resilience, health, and energy performance. Designed to accelerate innovation through full-scale testing and real-world demonstration, the 12th House Initiative creates a pathway for bringing breakthrough housing technologies from research into commercial application.

He previously served as Co-Chair of the WELL Home Advisory for the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), helping advance healthier residential environments through the integration of building science, health, wellness, and human performance.

Working in collaboration with the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES) and a growing coalition of public- and private-sector partners, Goswick is helping establish one of the nation’s most comprehensive living laboratories for next-generation community development, integrating housing, infrastructure, energy, healthcare, communications, education, workforce development, and economic development.

Today, through TELOS™, Quantum America, House X Labs, and a broad network of public-private collaborations, Goswick continues to champion a future in which intelligent communities, resilient infrastructure, advanced housing, and systems innovation work together to improve quality of life, lower the Total Monthly Cost of Living™, strengthen communities, and preserve—and expand—the American Dream of homeownership for future generations.
